Search button is your friend mate :D

they wont make any huge gains on their own.. 1-2bhp if your lucky?

but they do look nice and sound amazing.. i dunno if Kam still sells them?

Mr_willy on here sells them for around £50 :y:

Or you could get the Simota from Kam Racing called the Simota, its exactly the same as the raceland. And that £115 :y:

Will add maybe 2-4bhp.

Dont think it will increase it more, you may get an extra 1bhp is your VERY lucky. But the Green filters are overall better.

i wouldnt say i noticed hardly any difference when i put mine on my VTR, but it sounds lovely and the throttle response is smoother, id a agree 2-4bhp max.

I would personally get a panel filter unless you want it for the noise

I've had a BMC CDA and raceland enclosed and a panel filter and the panel filter was the best and cheapest

the simota is actually a lot better materials than the raceland and is now a different design.
Only problem is getting them in!

pfft haha haha :P:homme::hug:

5bhp from a raceland. hehe. more like loose 2bhp. they are shit. you get crap airflow the corner of the scoop sits above/on the manifold warming up the air

stick with a standard airbox and panel filter. then run a nice cold air feed

i did say above/on depends on the quality of the installer and engine type

fitted my raceland at the weekend and i think its a bit cheap and tacky. It doesn't fit right, the rubber pipe is the wrong size and i don't see how it gets much air to it because it sits against the slam panel. It does get heated by the manifold if you drive for long enough. I did notice a good difference compared to my open k&n filter though. :y:

i cant tell the difference in power but there is definitely better throttle response and it pulls smoother. no flatspots.

on the move the engine bay temperature is near enough ambient....
leaving the engine running at a standstill will heat any setup up.

will do probably next to nothing, its only an airfilter
