Able to fit air filter

My friend says its impossible (or just difficult) to fit a open air filter such as the ones from Green and K&N to my 1.4i engine. Whats the views here

No, it can be fitted to all saxo engines by looking at it.

Just take all the standard airbox off and attach it to the Throttle bodie :y:

It will fit all the engines apart form the SPI engines which iirc are only 1 liter engines, Iv just bought a green cotton induction kit of a 2.6 liter cavalier turbo.. Modded it to fit

its fine aslong as you dont let all the hot air from the engine get sucked up.

Mate said hed have a go but i dont trust him not after this ha, and after his wheel fell off... his rover 200... on a speed bump

It says induction kit, bt Green do a few different types, and the pictures are of panel filter :S

You will most probably be able to get it to fit whatever it is, as long as it says saxo.

this picture helps me sort of because it looks like my engine. But do i put the breather pipe back on or take it off? how much do garages charge to do this, dont really wanna screw it up

No need for a garage mate, even at total n00b who has never done any DIY or touched a car can do it.

Its really simple, just undo all the black original air filter system, then put the new filter onto the throttle bodie, and tighten a hose clip around it :y:

Yes, open K an Ns can be fitted to all saxos.
