Ok everyone is telling me my cat is in the mani? but its not, so basically i have just decatted my car with a race centre section from kam. its a 52 plate 2003 Vts

can people please comfirm this, as my exhaust looks like this when i took it off. which that first box from the mani is the cat isn't it?

if i have just decatted any suggestions on my options when it comes to mot time, i still have the cat section but not the rest of the exhaust as it was fucked, please any help guys and sorry for another thread. :y: and i took it for a drive and the management light hasn't come on, but i put the lamba back in the race section cause i thought i still had the cat in the mani.

thats exactly what yours looks like if its a vts, no vts's have a cat in the manifold. all you can do is keep your cat and get a new centre section for the mot

No VTS's have a cat in the manifold mate am afraid. You could get a Decat for quite cheap if you wanted.

sounds like hes already decatted by using a straight through, which doesnt leave the option to bolt in a cat without removing the whole middle pipe and putting in a cat and another centre

yup it his decated now, i have the cat in my house, my exhaust is the same as that pic i posted, and that little box straight after the mani thats the cat, which is now off the car and i have a straight through race centre section from cam, but if my cat is off the car i can't understand why my management light isn't on? oh i don't know, havn't a clue, but a few people off here have told me my cat is in the mani.

Seconded. I have a 52 plate VTS and the cat (when I had one!) was in the same place as it is in Danny's diagram.
