Had to get my De-cat swapped over for my cat due to the dreaded time of the year, MOT time lol
Now Ive decided to leave it on!

Before i had 2 problems with it
1. Rattle at just over 2000rpm (occured in an about 400rpm range)
2. Whilst in reverse the gear stick shook like fook.

Now i am rid of them two problems, and it still sounds as loud when you put your foot down:y:, and just sounds nice and smooth during normal driving:y: Not even going to bother getting it refitted now as i see it as pointless lol

just though id let people know as I'm so happy ha ha
also lets some people see who are unsure on one that they're not all good:panic:

thats good news then, i normally rate de-cats quite good but obviously in your case the cat is a good option

both your problems sound like they wer caused by the decat hitting the linkages, not really a big problem tbh.

But if your happy with how it is now, then thats good, yall soon get sick of the engine feeling liek it has nothing to give at higher speeds ;)

till you get bored of it being quiet. and when you refit it will cure the problems you had - as mine did excatly the same, fitted cat for mot, hated the noise - or lack of it, refitted exhaust and all the annoying rattles went!

catching on the gear linkages like already said
