Hi all,
Was just wondering if anyone could help me here.
Had my saxo written off last week and am now looking for a new project, as i had to go through insurance, its now gone through the roof, so not good. So my plan is to buy a 106 quicky or a saxo westy and dropping a 16v in. I have a few funds as my sound system has been sold for rather a lot. But anyway i was just wondering what kind of prices i am looking at for the swap.
And obviously as the chasis needs work to be capable of taking the extra power, would my vtr parts fit work as i believe the base of a vtr is the same as the vts, don't know just my thoughts.
Any help?
Thanks Tom

search for your information it's all on here in threads - insurance will be even higher for a 16v engine than a 1.4 engine. Chassis is the same for a 1.4 westy and the vts.

Insurance not too bothered about as i will appreciate the car more if i work on it myself and hopefully it won't end up dead like my vtr. But thanks for the help.

will cost you about 500 in parts then fit it yourself if you can or around 4-500 to get it fitted
