on the engine theres quite a bit of surface rust and I want to try and clean this up to make it look pretty:) any ideas on the best treatment much appreceated ty

underbody sealer rub it down then paint it with that stuff

Sand it down,then primer and then re paint area..........:y::y:no more rust....:p:clapping:

As above, repaint it the colour that you want :y:

Or you could try the Kurust stuff...?

Is the rust on the block? If so get a wire brush, I tend to use the type on a grinder, to remove the rust then paint in Hammerite colour of your choice. Off course using a grinder in and enclosed space with explosive fuel around would not be the most sensible thing to do.

1.1's have an alloy block so they cant rust but they can oxodise ;)
