Hi guys, Im going to be buying a new backbox and centre section really soon. But wondered what happens about all this crap with the Lambda sensor needing to be sleeved? Or is this just when swapping manifolds rather than the centre section and backbox? Would like a reply soon please so I can order it now, lol. Thanks, Sam.

this is only when you replace the mani with a cat in it, so if you're only going to swap the backbox and the centre pipe there should be no problem

As above only when changin the manifold !

Also, When people say that the CAT is in the manifold, I take it they just mean attatched to the end of it like? Not actually in it, lol.
If this is the case; As I have a 1.1i Mark 2, Im assuming that the CAT is 'in' the manifold. So I take it that I dont need any new gaskets for the manifold, as the centre section attaches to the CAT (Which in turn is joint to the mani).

Its a supersprint race system BTW.

no on some mk2 VTR's the cat is actually in the manifold... your ok yours is underneath the car so you dont have to worry. but when you get a centre section make sure its a cat back pipe or it will de-cat your car...

Can I see Any gains at all without De-Catting then?

Yes ofc if you have good induction, cener pipe and backbox. But not as much as you would if you de-cated. but de-cating will more than likley make you fail MOT so you would have to put the cat back on come MOT time.
