Hi what exactly would i need to change on my vtr to drop a vts in it..i am abit confused about the ECU..gearbox..etc. could anyone tell me everything i would need to change. cheers. josh:afro:

But you will need an unlocked VTS ecu unless you can get the ignition and key from the car you got the engine from. Then the ECU will work.

You can use a VTR box with the VTS engine, i have and its perfectly fine.

dont need ignition, its the key and immobilisor you need to unlock it.

But if the ecu isnt unlocked and you are using the key from the donor car, dont you need the ignition barrel for the key to work?

no, you dont put the key in the ignition, just take pickup ring off ignition and put new key inside pickup ring.

Easier to get an unlocked ECU imo, plug and play
