youre going to need a lot more than "birthday money" to get a turbo setup :wall:

You will need about £3000 plus for a good setup.
Also at 18 i doubt you would get insured on a turbo VTR.

Give him a break guys, although this is asked WAY too many times, you can just be nice about it.
Yes mate, it is possible to turbo a vtr, as said above just search for some turbo threads and read away, best way to learn some more info ;)

Beat me to it you bastid!
Right everybody was noobs once, so simple fact get off the lads back!
Who knows it might be the first forum he's used?
As wide said it's totally possible!
As for price people quoting £3000 is bullsh*t it's all down to how much you want to gain from it.
For example Sophia_Bush did a turbo 1.1 which cost under £750:

Dont waste your money on a turbo, too many problems, get a vts and buy a super charger, hey presto no lag no over heating etc etc blah blah blah, gmc motorsport do several decent superchargers and turbo's give em a look.

Worst joke ever now fuck off if you dont have anything useful to say.
It will cost you from £1500+ for a decent turbo set up mate and i'd rather save up and turbo a vts or just buy a 172 in the future.
