Don't want to disappoint but i don't think it does, your cat is in/next to your manifold isn't it?

about £1000 really. was going to get a bmc cda and supersprint manifold, but then got told that the cat takes about 10-20% of the power. if i get a new manifold it more or less bypass' the cat? am i right?

10-20 % of the pwer is a bit extreme though lol, maybe a few bhp.

i thought the same, bit enthusiastic lol. will the manifold give more power on top of decating it? also, what would i do when it comes to M.O.T ing it? :/

yeah the mani will give gains, but a decat won't pass an mot im afraid. Thought about a mini with a sports cat? http://www.kamracing.co.uk/manufacturers-543/janspeed-583/janspeed-manifolds-584/janspeed-4-2-1-exhaust-manifold-sports-cat-saxo-vtr-998.html not sure if it fits the furio tho sorry :n:

i have an idea, do you know how much a cat is? is it the stuff inside that sups the power or the shape, if its the stuff inside ill just try taking it out of it. :)

lol i wish it was that simple but they check your emission levels and it has to be lower than a certain number or some thing like that, so they would no :homme:

Oh right. Why not just get a decent mani w/o a cat for 364 days of the year and put the standard mani with the cat back on for the other 1 day left aka mot day. There is a guide on here -> http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80568
Problem solved :drink:

tis the only option, i might try putting a vtr system on, minus the vtr manifold.
