as above would you trust a powerflow agent to put a piece of pipe in to replace the back box so minimal bends involved?

For someone who works for powerflow, about as hard as making a F1 car in your garage overnight, from a Ebay DIY kit. :homme:

Serious note, cant tell, some of there staff are alright, but others are total cowboys.

Will the rest of the exhaust system stay standard?

Every agent is different.

Just ask to see an example of their work.

I know a lad that used be a underwater welder for the MOD that now works for powerflow, if his welds are good enough for battleships, then im sure they are for you saxo

saxovtr123. I usually take the piss with you but calm it down for fucks sake, you are posting utter shit for no real reason.

They are a franchise so its hit and miss as to who you could have doing the work. Reploacing the bakcbox with a bit of pipe? so a non baffled backbox?

no it will be a 2" stainless jobbie from manifold back with a 200 cell hi-flow cat and mid silencer. i was thinking of running no rear silencer.

Would that not be too loud?

thats right ryan i was thinking a very basic copy of the s1600 exhaust http://lh5.ggpht.com/_Mo-CCNcwfi0/SgyWX1chPNI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/Tp6TpM4m37w/s512/untitled1.jpg

the centre pipe is easy to come by.
am i right in thinking when the exhaust pulse reaches the backbox it has already done its work with the expansion chambers earlier so the cat and silencer?

Is your engine spec similar to the s1600?

I have an s1600 manifold on my car, the reason for the design like that is because the manifold is alot bigger than a normal one, eg it runs back beyond/where the cat ends on most saxos.

You couldnt really run 3 silencers with it very easily :D..

id personally not be removing the rear silencer on a road car.

Nah just trackdays in it atm. I had looked at the combe saloon car series, etc.. but the car needs some new parts before I look at going more hardcore on it.

surely it would be eligable and be fairly competative in the c2 class here are the regs. http://www.aswmc.org.uk/hilclimb.htm#HREG

I would be in sports libre when i last checked. Either way sprints/hillclimbs are not anything im worried about tbh, Im happy with track days and so on.

Also being just a toy I dont need to worry about making sure all the paperwork is up to speed (say seats in date etc.., like some forumlas)
