thinking of buying one, from the manifold back but it will still have cat on.

will it still make a noise like this

and will it still pass mot?

how could i de-cat it and get through mot?

to decat it do i need a new mani?

very very unlikely a decat will go through mot but it has been known and if your cat is in the mani you will need a new mani which could mean a 4-2-1 stainless or 4-1 stainless or mild steel or you could just buy a mk1 manifold and downpipe and will have same effect for much cheaper

so if i had a mk1 manifold what about mot time because i have been told you cant keep changing manifolds?

the mk1 cat is under the car, so you wouldn't have to change the manifold again, just the pipe after it.

im currently running a catback system and it sounds the same and pops and bangs just asmuch on my new vtr

ive got the early phase 2 models with the cat under the car, and i will be changing the system back to standard for mot time

r rite so if i get a mk1 vtr manifold and cat and i just swap the peice where the cats ment to be or should i get a standard exhsaust for mot time?
