well... just need a bit of advice...

I am buying a Complete 16v engine from a 1998 106 GTi Comes from a totally standard 106 GTi. This will be a straight fit for my vtr right?

Comes with...

Engine
Wiring loom
ECU (sadly needs unlocking)
All sensors
OE Airbox unit

How much would the ECU unlocking be? or i could i use my vtr one..?

Anything on that list that i'd need / need to do?

or if anyone in the dorset/bournemouth area has done an engine change willing to do it?

if so, how much? (:

Thanks all!:y:

you need a full vts engine loom, the loom that comes with the 106 engine is no good to you

the loom wont be plug and play. However if you want to get your haynes out its not very hard to do atall.

I can unlock vts ecus for £65 which is the cheapest around

I can also provide vts multiplugs that you can adapt onto your loom for a fiver :)
