engine swap/transplant

hi people just a quick one, will any saxo engine fit any saxo? i intend on swapping engine, box ecu and loom on a motor i bought for our lass to learn in but dont want to buy the wrong thing. cheers in advance:drink:

A quick answer.

Yes, any engine will fit any saxo. and any box will fit any engine. The ECU need to be matched.

If I'm not mistaken you will still need it unlocked as it won't talk to the immobiliser. I had to do it for my 3 pin 206 to fit the 3 pin vtr engine ECU.
