As above. i want a nice loud sounding exhaust that pops and backfire. which would be the best to go for? I was thinking of a straight through pipe removing the Cat too and a universal backbox on it? Thanks Scott

No expert on the subject but i imagine you would have a 4-1 manifold straight through from manifold back and then a exhaust such as a piper or a cherry bomb to get it really loud. im sure it would pop on with that setup

i know what the VTS sounds like from a straight through pipe without the decat and a universal backbox and it sounds mint... but i dont know if it would be the same on a VTR

sorry that was meant to say the cat lol
Find your nearest Powerflow dealer or custom exhaust dealer and tell them what you said above. I am sure they will not disappoint.

just stick a supersprint race system and manifold on
If you want loud get a stainless steel middle section made with no box, and get a universal jap can.
I done that set up b4 with standard mani and cat and was very loud and popped like a gunshot.

just stick a supersprint race system and manifold on
+ a Decat, and thats about as loud as it gets, whilst still sounding nice.
Wack a 5" bean can on, but its just a droning noise.

How come this VTS sounds like that with only a magnex centre section and backbox? This is the same on my Furio and its no way as loud as that? Is it because the cats in the manifold on the Furio and thats whats making it sound quiet?
Would it be best to fit an induction kit to make my Furio louder as I dont want it stupidly loud so that I cant hear anything and I dont really want to be changing manifolds as then I'll have to fit a cat back pipe etc and it's too expensive!

I really like the sound of this but is it possible to get a VTR to sound along those lines?

my vtr has 4-2-1 sportex race tube, and an piper 4" bb, its stupidly loud and gets on my tits, does sound really good though, pops and cracks all the time but is quite anoying and as it sounds like a rally car you do get alot of unwanted attention, need to go, looking for a magnex in the near future

straight through pipe on a universal backbox with the baffels burnt out of it, makes my friends 1.2 corsa sound like a skyline
