havent seen anywhere to buy one.

but if you want to ask, phone up peugeot, and see if they can get one.

however i wouldnt expect much change from 1500 quid

why do you need a new one? A refurbed one is cheaper and will be basically the same lol

Basically yeah, closer ratios = faster acceleration, but your top speed wont be as high.

shorter final drive, ratios are the same

I thought they where all shorter?

What about a XSI box? or S2 rallye box?

All same gear cluster with different final drives.

There is no all for one best box.

Depends on what you want/use the car for. No point in fitting an S1 box if you drive 50miles each way to work each day on the motorway for example

you fail.

Ratio's are the same, tis the final drives that are different.

What about a XSI box? or S2 rallye box?

1.4 xsi box ratios are the same
1.6xsi / s2 rallye box ratios are the same

its the final drives that are different.

Around £3-400 inc new bearings/seals/synchros. Some places will be cheaper, some more expensive.

Vts/gti box is fine.
