Did a service (40000mile)on my car on friday and noticed that there is oil blowing out from the o/s bottom of the head. Has anyone else had a problem with head gasket or am I the unlucky fuker!?
If so did you just nip the head bolts a little bit or should I just go for the whole job, ie: Head gasket, Belt, Skimmed head, New bolts, Manifold gasket etc...

what kind of problems are you having mate? sometimes my car blows wet watery black crap down the sides of the lower parts of my car and pisses me off, when i went to get it checked at the garage matey tested the rad and it had a hole in hence the watery crap down the sides of the car, have had the rad changed since and everything was fine till yesterday when driving down the mway average speed at 80mph gets to a stop and see's the black watery crap down the sides of the car again but not as bad as last time! smileys/smiley5.gif

its not too bad, but im going to get it done anyway i think. i get all the parts trade and i can do it myself anyway so it souldn't be too bad. Fukin typical when i have to save up for insurance tho smileys/smiley7.gif

Its not the water side of the gasket that is leaking its the oil port which is on the o/s front of the block it can leak and will not affect the water system so checking the water side wont make any difference smileys/smiley2.gif

when u take the head off to do the gasket get it skimmed at a machine shop it will bump ur compression up a bit to get a bit more power and give the gasket a nice smooth surface to seal to
