Its all much of a muchness. There are regulations governing fuel and in so all pump fuel is very similar. Even something like pump race fuel is not that far off what you get from the supermarket. How fresh the fuel is will make a far bigger difference to where you got it from most of the time. More potent fuel is readably available however most road cars will not like it one bit. Its also illegal to use on the road.

The first time I used it I definitely felt a difference. The car was quicker, especially from 2nd to 3rd and upto 4th. Maybe it was the cleaning agents in it cleaning all the necessary bits. The second (and last) time I used it, didn't really notice any difference to be honest.

Anyone remember that fuel station company with a "credit card man" as its mascot? A credit card with a face, arms and legs!
Used to be loads of them in the 90s... now gone!

dont go to supermarkets like tescos for fuel. they have a higher ethanol percentage.
ethanol is cheap so thats the reason for the lower prices in the supermarkets. it is more combustable but it lowers your mpg so you end up using more fuel. ethanol is also rather corrosive so can damage your fuel lines. i knew a guy with a bike and he used tesco fuel. but he ended up buying a new fuel tank and injectors cus there were alot of waxes which blocked up the injectors.

stick with shell cus they get there own fuel and dont buy it from some one else.

Its just Exxon (esso) fuel Tesco sell. Fuel really has gone down hill. Any of the ols school 5 star fuels had more of a kit than just about anything on sale these days. :n:

Esso, car feels better than when i use optimax, bp round here is usually the priciest. Not the supreme either.

When i used texaco in my bike, i stripped the carb to change the jets and thought it smelt like diesel. Then i took it to the bike shop i use and the guy there guessed it had texaco in it cos it smelt like diesel.
