alright,
bought an induction kit a couple of months ago and i'm wondering if it is better to use a oil breather filter or use a pipe/tube to connect the oil breather to the little sticky out bit on the induction pipe?
Help please
Thanks in advance!

you should vent the oil breather pipes to the atmosphere. Oil vapour in the combustion chamber hurts performance

So your saying I should get an oil breather?

Sound nice considering mine is completely standard.
P.S: How do you think I should cover the hole on the induction pipe??

What the hole on the induction lit or the pipe, if its the pipe then an oil breather should do the trick as you mentioned mate if you on about the induction kit then am sure that a bit of electrical tape with suffice for now mate.

Theres like an 'L' shaped nozzle that comes off the pipe for the induction kit. That's what I was initially going to attach the tubing to.
But if I get an oil breather then this will be just doing nothing. I'm trying to think of a way to stop air coming/going out of the hole as I got told you need to cover it up.

you need that breather pipe to vent the oil vapour from the engine.
don't block it up
the correct way so you don't end up with an oil covered engine is to tube the vapour into a catch tank
Breather filter on breather pipe.
Grommet in hole on induction pipe.
Breather filter on breather pipe.
Grommet in hole on induction pipe.
what he said! but i'd use a catch tank, i just had a breather straight on the rocker cover on my vtr and engine bay was covered in oil

I could never be fucked to fit my catch tank :homme:

it will do the job. you may have to clean your engine bay regularily

How often do you think it will be? I've got my breather loose atm with nothing attached as i've not had the induction long, and not much oil if not any has come out.
it will spit oil constantly. i didnt bother keepin mine clean but its up to you

It will have to do until I get an oil catch tank, you know where I could get a grommit for the induction?
i just taped the tube up when i had a raceland, no idea what sort of grommet to use
