Guys in a bit of a pickle. Changed my clutch on my vts the other week, the thrust bearing was so fooked that all that was left wer tiny flakes of metal within the chamber. Woops. Any way the shaft that the bearing runs along which runs into the gearbox is seriously scared,so gear changes can be to say the least 'juddery' causing some unwantd engine movement and i assume damage :(

I want to upgrade the gear box and gears as i figured that heap of crap will have to come out.

Any body got any suggestions?

Cheers Dave

a lot will say use an xsi box (s1 106) or a ralley (s1 or s2 however the s1 is shorter and the s2 is nearly as long as the vts box iirc) box but i would say just find another vts box tbh

the xsi or rallye will effect your fuel consumption as they require you to rev higher to be at the same speed but they do give benefits in acceleration
