No, havnt got it on yet.
I'm going to get it on soon as i'm slowly getting more air to the bodies so needs the fuel map tweaked - means more bhp!
The sounds is awesome!! You'll love it!

Pulls like a train when it gets there with my gearbox - is awesome though!! Just makes me want to shed some weight from the car, shorter gearbox and enjoy!!

Do you have a 106 or a saxo?
That's a nice spec.you won't be dissapointed with it but you do definately need to change that vtr box.

awsome stuff, id be excited too
may be worth getting a diff though with that much power. i spin my wheels a fair bit as it is with only 143bhp:y:

I have 708s at the minute and I am tempted to go wilder but it doesn't really seem worth it for the extra money.
I do recommend a shorter box,all my power is high up in the rev range so would be better if I could get to those revs a bit quicker.
s1/1.4xsi boxes fetch a premium these days as alot are fooked/wanted for track toys.
I have a diffed xsi box coming my way to replace my diffed s2 box, + a spare XSI box sitting in the garage lol!
VTR box isnt something id be running thats for sure, the box is one of the key comoponents of a good NA set up, even if the MA gear clusters are a bit shit in general
Something people should note though the boxes are NOT shorter ratios, they run the same gear cluser as all sports boxes, but have a different final drive. The rev drops between gears is the same etc..

nath 106- yea been thinking about it but i may only go on the track 1 a year so mabey oth worth it for an every day car !
makaveli- na your right mate i wouldnt spend the extra cash just for an other 20bhp or so not for the amount !
and defo going to get a better box is the xsi box the shortest ? any recomendations ?
cheers matt

could you sort me out with a box ryan ? a i have the monies waiting .... and yes my bad i did know that lol
Not selling anything atm, till ive tested the car with the diffed XSI box over my diffed S2 one.
The diffed XSI one wont be for sale if I like it thats for sure :P

The s1 is the shortest I think, obviously if you do a lot of motorway miles you don't want the box too short.
It's easy to say that but this horsepower thing is addictive lol.
I haven't got a diff and I don't have a major problem spinning the wheels.

I ment the spare one you have in the garage that would be great mate if your willing to sell ? can pm me a price if you want mate ?

The s1 will give the lowest theoretical top speeds, but will give in theory the best in gear performances.
And thus the worst MPG in relation to other final drives on the same gear cluster.

Liked gold dust so not getting rid till im 100% sure the diffed box is an XSI one, else ill be chucking a diff in this box to.
Sit on rallye reg, get an xsi box which isnt in the best of nick for like £50 and then buy an ATB for it :D

well will be best if i could get a xsi box or a s2 rallye by the sounds of things !
(straight to ebay)
ebay is shit for boxes these days, lots of bullshit.
Rallye reg is the best bet in most cases.
S2 rallye boxes are nice, in my case I dont need the theoretical top end of 160 with 8.5k rev limit lol!
1.4xsi's are the current box of choice for many instead of the s1 box

165 maybe... but I wouldn't worry too much... it doesn't tell you anything...the mid range will be soooo much better.
