Hi
I heard from my mate a proper shit hot citroen mechanic that a v10 fits in a saxo? is this easy to do? do you think a turbo will fit aswell? I was thinking of doing it for the lolz because i know this vtr and he reckons that beats 16vs is it true?

I think it would fit easy, although the bugatti veyron engine apparently will go in sideways and make it rear wheel drive, with no mods, Just need to chop the middle of the car out, piece of piss
Wouldn't keep up with the pimped up 1.1 rudeboys though :(

well you know it ben, this is just to high light the amount of turbo questions that get asked daily and can x y z fit in lol
really danny no way so i will need 10 turbos for each cylinder to get as much torque as an 8v vtr?

my vtr would still beat you gav!!
ive got lotus seats for the extra 902 bhp :D

surly the car will just flip on itself with that much torque going through the rear wheels
AlexB

leave it front driven then :D
If I was looking for a mental engine I'd probably go for the Hartley 2.8 or 3 litre all alloy V8, probably the lightest, most compact V8 available weighing only 200 lbs and putting out 400-500bhp spec dependent, also revs to 10k. :D
SPECIFICATIONS H1V8:

remap may affect the performance of the ported throttle body. Stick with a chip imho :p

theres chips on ebay, easy fit, work's well with a wee bit vinegar aswell

This thread is getting a bit silly but for talking sake... you'd need very high specced standalone aftermarket ECU to run an F1 engine and extensive mapping. These things are built to such high tolerances that they have to be connected to an engine 'life support' machine which pumps hot oil round it etc etc, keeps all internal temps within certain parameters to stop it seizing and reads its vital signs, only if they are all within spec will it be safe to start.

IIRC bullit ran it on Vpower, we all told him it wouldnt make it any faster but he said he could feel the difference between that & the 95ron from Tesco. Just wasting his money though i think, you can get double clubcard points at tesco.

what if you have a keypad immobiliser??
can i just reset it to my birthday?
If you havnt got VTEC in it then theres no point, it would be more cost effective to fit a VTS with a K&N and a cherry bomb.

You need the password mate. It should be on another VT of the same colour, you have to measure the difference between the arch at the tyre, devide it by 3 and thats the password. Put that in your keypad.

Nah mate have a search this questions asked everyday.
But you can replace the 1.0 injectors with 1.6vts injectors to make it a 1.6 though :y:, will need a remap though, and rear tyres replacing.

on a slightly more serious note. Graeme was offered an aston martin V12 engine for his racecar. Only £12k just for the engine!
£6k bought a freshly rolled Honda S2000 so that won...

16th July 2009, 19:08
Only thing to do is fit some small steelies on the front to cope with the weight and the lower height, that way it looks like a drag car too!!
Sick tbh...
Big spoiler needed though, counteracts the extra power and the wrong keypad code...
Lexus lights work pretty well so i've been told, also helps with the ecu unlocking problem and gives even more powaaah!
