ok guys so am in the stages of doing my Throttle Boddie VTS engine, i have now purchased some GSXR1000 k1/k2 Boddies off Manc and was having a chat with him the other day (very Knowledgeable bloke) and he was saying something about taking the Fuel T piece of 3.5 Bar off my VTR engine and using it on the VTS with a 172Sport injector rail has anybody done this? does anybody have any pics to help me?

thanks,
Matt

Cheer for the kind words pal :y:

It known as a 3.5bar FPR (fuel pressure regulator), The clio 172 uses the Pico style injector fittings and so does the VTS, hence why it a popular upgrade, GroomGTi\Rickyp-rpm both have a set fitted, did you take apart the VTR fuel rail along with the VTS fuel rail to compare???

spot on thanks mate so i can take the VTR one and place it on my Vts no worries? with no problems? but for an even more gain i can get a 172 fuel rail and run the 172 injectors? what sort of power gain does the VTR FPR allow to the VTS?

Few questions there lol

As you have a few engines you'll need to compare, as far as I know you shouldnt have any problems, would'nt like to say 100% thou.

Yea using 283cc injectors from a clio172 will help, wouldnt like to say what gains it would give you, its somthing during the mapping a stage that would become apprant, you need to read a couple of the progress thread for people who have throttlebodied there VTS to see how they addressed fueling.

Hope that helps.
