Golf TDI can have dump valve?

This may sound stupid... but my mum has a golf TDI...

just wondering if i could get a dump valve for it... since i dont know why... just want to know because its 3am :D

Lol :D When do turbos on diesels kick in? Is it the same effect as petrols...

And im hoping mum sell her car to me when im a bit older tbf.

They kick in quite low down, usually at full boost by 2700rpm.

Exactly the same process as a petrol, just a lazy version.
