backbox to complete supersprint and raceland

Hi, sorry i know theres an awful lots of these 'whats the best' threads, but need as many peoples opinions as possible.

i currently have a supersprint race section and will be buying a Raceland 4-1 Exhaust Manifold tonight for my VTR. Which backbox will complete this system, i am considering the supersprint race box...but what other boxes would work well. i am looking to get more pops and burbles than a roar noise.

super sprint race back box.

Will be the same system as I have then, I like the sound :) As for back firing, does now and again when changing gear, or just reving it.

do you have any videos of it? also did you have any problems when fitting the raceland 4-1 onto you mk2. is there plenty of space between the oil filter and manifold?

ha I'd fit the supersprint backbox because its lighter..

magnex won't fit straight on as far as i'm aware. the piper backboxes fit straight on to the supersprint centre pipes. If you want plenty of tailpipe options they are a good choice

even on a vtr, i had it on a standard vtr with cat still in and it sounded awesome

but on my vts decated with mani it does sound soo much better

I actually think it makes my car sound a bit subaru ish, it like throbs on idle a little, like wob wob wob wob if you get me.

Plenty of space between the oil filter and mani as well.

I'll take a vid of it idling today maybe, although not sure if my camera is any good for videos.

did you buy the super sprint sections as a system or one after the other? As I did that the first time I had a super sprint, and it cost alot more than buying hte system in a oner lol

You won't be dissappointed mate, going out in my car so when I get back will be able to take a vid as the camera battery should be charged and it's nice and warm so can rev it lol

thanks for the picture, and yeah ive already purchased a race cenre section before...had it on a 4" ashley which was stupidly loud and looked to big :(
