hi guys just wondering if u could give me a decent spec for a half decent set-up nothing to radical just mid range really in what mods i could have to improve quality and life of my saxo vts as i intend to keep it for as long as i can. so type of manifold gear linkages everything and anything really would be helpful! thanks

if you want you vts to last long best bet is to sell it and buy something not french

i knew someone would say that but i dont plan on selling it until it takes it last cough (which wont be soon if ur thinking that) my bduget is endless it will just be over time really with time constraints but i hoping to achieve just a gd all roumd set-up where i can change most of the standard bits to good tough long lasting performance bits.

im thinkin more throttle bodies with cams really ideally i would like get a car with a turbo in it like a golf gti if i was to. but yea ive got a magnex exhaust, induction kit, i was thinking stainless steel manifold janspeed 2-4-1 or if u guys know of any better and a throttle body but ive never done anthing like this and i havent got a cluw what would match up and be compatible with one another.

Anyway...

Raceland manifold, Magnex cat back, Magnex de-cat, K&N panel filter, 266mm brakes, uprated engine mounts, uprated arbs, get rid of the spare wheel and rear wiper and sound deadning in the boot. Be looking at about 130Bhp with those engine mods and increased braking and handling from the others.

Could also go for some cams such as PH3 Newmans and a remap at Chipwizards but expect to pay about £900+ for the cams (inc fitting) and remap.
