i have a green cone filter which sits in between the engine an battery is this bad for the engine? warm air etc? it doesnt have a cold air feed either? an suggestions :y:

if its a open cone it will suffer from heat soak, just put a cold air feed to it

When you're driving the cold air being forced through the bay will mean it doesn't suffer from too much heat soak.

thats where mine is, if you're getting heat soak you're not driving fast enough ;)

can shield it from the rest of the bay and get a quality air feed to it and it should be okay
