there is a pipe that runs from the cold air feed to the exhaust manifold this is detrimental to performance but helps the car start on cold days, just wondering if anyone has removed it and what affect it had?

I always remove it .. doesn't make a difference really. Did have a problem with carb icing on my 205 rallye though so usu botch something together for winter to help that

does it fuck.i took the whole pipe going to the airbox off and replaced it with halfords intake piping so theres no restrictors.then just drilled my airbox coz didnt have enuff for an induction kit.been fine for me.
