iv got a mk1 vtr engine silvertop could i fit any vtr ecu on it its single pug so i no i need a single plug ecu

there are 3 vtr engines
a black top early vtr made for a year or soo with ht leads
silvertop 90bhp (cat under the car)
silvertop 98bhp (cat in the manifold)

just i was talking to a lad today and he said i need a ecu to match with the engine code iv never herd of that befor
