would a silver top head fit onto a mk1 blacktop engine?? i want to have some work done to my head but cant afford to have my car on the road so i would do it to the other head.
i cannot find a blacktop head either thats why i ask bout this

They late model heads are very different and the likes of the inlet ports will not fit.

The early grey tops are a better match as all your bits and bobs can be fitted. But its not ideal and if your looking to build a tuned engine you don't want to use this head.

Really its a head off a black top Saxo VTR , 106 XSI, 106 rallye, AX GTI or the likes you are after.
