iv jus brought a pipercross air filter and there is this little clip connected to my standerd air box is that clip important?? thnx

A little more information would help as thats a little vague? A picture would be a great help also model and year of saxo too. smileys/smiley2.gif

its a 1.4 westcoast 99 model, i cant get ne pictures on here sorry but its a little clip that fits on to the air box dont have a clue whats its for, ill search on the net for a picture thnx

Hello!! Does it connect from the top of the engine block to the air box and is it a Black and yellow circular clip??? smileys/smiley4.gif

There should be a place for it to clip onto the air filter mate. smileys/smiley2.gif

As above, its the Breather Pipe for the engine. I had problems when fitting my Pipercross Viper induction kit. You need to disconnect it from the old airbox and fit to new induction kit. It usually has a small tube to connect on to at the side of the air filter. smileys/smiley4.gif

thanks people i had to buy another breather pipe as mine was a universal one and didnt have the hole for it smileys/smiley17.gif

No Worries!!! I had the same problem with my Induction kit and had to buy new hosing to connect the engine with the new filter! I got rid of the old breather pipe. Had no problems since!!! smileys/smiley4.gif
