Hi.
EML came on. Had it read and it said 'No Codes', cleared the ECU anyway and light went out!?
Wtf? Or could it have been a code that the OBD couldnt read?
Cheers.

The generic readers will only pick up certain codes I'm afraid.
As an example, my code reader currently states that there is a fault with my ECU's processor, that being just the one DTC. However, a proper code reader (££££) shows two other DTC's, one for the air injection pump and the other for second lambda sensor.

Ah right, interesting! So the air injection pump brings up a code? Removed mine and sure the cars never been the same since! Could be the problem. Now the codes are clear, I take it even Citroen couldn't find out what it was till the light comes on again?
Cheers.

I don't understand how you cleared the codes if there weren't any to clear... :ponder:

Neither do I or the bloke at the garage haha.
Think it was either a cock up with the ECU or a cock up with his machine :/ Either way the EML out, for now!
