hi can anyone help were is the best place to get a crankshaft kit ie big ends and main bearings from pluss new crankshaft seals

race bearings? The bearings dont contact each other so what would be different... unless there machined to a higher tolerance? You can get an alloy shell king bearings i think the company is called. Much better bed in of foreign materials, and higher machining tolerances. Plus if contact occours between shell and crank then it wont damage you crank as bad as a normal shell would once the white metal is gown.

Yes there a higher tolerance item GMC sell. There also harder wearing items as though there is meant to be a film of oil this is not always so any old engines don't last for ever. Though some people would argue that softer ones are better even though they may not last as long they can make the crank last longer. Its a 6 and 2x3 thing really.
