basically i will be buying an S within the next month or so. I plan to try and get one with the usual full zorst system and induction kit, I know the engines love the breathing mods so this should see a small increase.

I want to know what to do next for performance. Im guessing the usual cam's? however i dont really know which ones are best etc, would i remap the standard ecu or get something like omex? which cams are better at low revs which are better at high? which ones will work best with itb's as that will also be a future plan.

cheers in advance guys

cams that run on standard inlet dont see alot more gain on an itb setup, if thats your future plan then the standalone would be the option for mapping too. Cheaper mapping/More places to map/better maps.

Do some reading there is shit loads of info out there.

i'd fit a manifold before the cams

Basics:
Exhaust system/Manifold
Induction
Cams
ECU re-map

Next...
Throttle bodies and omex individual ECU

Feeling crazy:
Turbo/supercharge

Feeling thoroughly insane: (or just meantally ill becasue of the amount of money uve spent)
Twin Turbo/supercharge

newman ph3 or catcam 708's see a good gain when mapped with breathing mods. definatly get a standalone ecu if getting bodies in the future. might be worth saving up and doing it all in one hit and one mapping session

nitrous oxide? No one ever thinks of this for some reason. Best bhp per ££ you can buy. Refills are the downside.

i include a mani when i say full zorst system. manifold, decat and cat back :clapping:

what would i likely see with breathing mods and cams 150ish?
what are the most popular bodies used? jenveys?

cheers

People usually see 140-150 with breathing mods and cam mate.

Id say 140 tops with very giving rollers. If somebody ran 150bhp with just breathing mods on different sets of rollers then thats definatly the best Monday Morning engine ever!

my mate got 138.9 for a full zorst and induction kit. so your saying cams and remap wont give much on top of that.
