i discovered on mine today there really wasnt much air being forced in as if you take your grill off and look under slam panel it literally only gets air through bonnnet safty catch. so what i did is bend the bottom of the slam panel up (its only a thin bit of metal) and its made quite a bit of difference when moving quickly as the whole scoop is being rammed with air rather than just a little bit through bonnet catch, this is pic of how it is now you can see the thin carbon edge of mine above the radiator and its completly opened it up now, it wasnt before i did this, in fact it was completely sealed

did u just bend the slam panel up abit? or was it alot? as this is a really good idea and gives the intake alot more cold air coming into it.

That isn't a forced induction and this will only apply to MK1's.

Make sure you get a boost gauge to monitor all that air being forced in :p
