Right need help figuring out what these do / control on a Mk1 VTR engine.

1) The red wire - This sits behind the downpipe & under the manifold, it fastens into the lower engine block

2) Sits next to the coil pack, not sure what plugs into it or what it does

3) The Green connector - Sits roughly where the airbox would normally be

spot on, its the first lamda (not sure if mk1 vtrs even have a second)

Ah ha, the coil pack plug would explain why it's not igniting the fuel!
What does it plug into?

The oil pressure plug isn't actually plugged into anything, it's just a connector that sits in the lump and has a wire coiled round, theres nothing plugged into it.
Where should that go to?

I thought the lambda plug was screwed into the downpipe?
Where should that green connector be plugged into if thats not the case?

Thanks for the help guys. :y:

the actual lamda sensor will be screwed into the exhaust, it'll then have a wire coming out of it with a connecter whcih matches that one in the picture.
that red wire should go into the loom with the green wire next to it. if you strip the loom a bit you might find the broken wire

Ah okay, well I knackered the sensor on the downpipe so when I get a new one I just plug the green connector back into that.

Shall pull away the cable spiral and try locate the red wire, need to re-wrap it all anyway.

Just the coil pack plug now?

EDIT: I'm a noob... it plugs into the coil pack LOL!
