.. what are the best advantages i will see by fitting an s1 inlet to my vtr engine?

Pretty sure in most cases the car runs like shit on the 1.6 ECU.

I suppose f you got it running you might notice a slight increase in power and some more induction noise due to the size of the plenum.

Advantages? ........ well it looks nice :y:

Honestly - probably not worth the bother unless you're going to the expense of an ECU remap or standalone at the same time anyhow.

iirc doesnt fit to 98bhp vtr's anyway port spacing is different.

Yeah - just came back onto this thread and noticed its a Mark 2 in his avatar.

S1 inlet will only (physically) fit early silvertops, but none of the late silvertops.

i had one on my vtr, it ran fine and showed good gains with my cam and pully, definately worth getting if your planning on bigger mods later on like a cam and remap
