hey just wondering would i need to swap everything over to get it to be the same power as a vts or could i leave the vtr gearbox etc. also what is the general price to pay fro a standard vts engine?

There are about 3 other threads on this below. Search before hand mate :)
And you could pretty much leave it mate, maybe the twin fans off a VTS for good measure.
And it depends on how many miles are on the engine, if you get the loom etc
But between £300 and £500 is about the norm.

okay yeah i know im a twat i didnt realize there was one saying vtr to vts haha egnore this thread ppl. thanks well 500 would be my limit on a vts engine as i would have to pay to get it fitted also.

dont bother unless you're fitting it youself. by the time youve bought everything you need and paid for it to be fitted you will have spent enough to buy a vts without even selling your curent car! just sell your car and put that money together with what youve got for the conversion and buy a minter of a vts

Can used a vtr gearbox!! but really you want a vts gearbox of a xsi or s1 gearbox as the vtr is way tooo long for vts engine!!!
