wanna add some speed 2 my vtr...

dunno which way 2 go tho i was thinkin bmc induction kit
straight thru exhaust with magnex backbox and 4-2-1 manifold and cams .....wat do u think plz help i want my car 2 move alot quicker let me know plz people

also if ya anti roll bars are seized at the back is heatin them up a good idea...and somebody can u list me some websites 4 the parts i need plz plz

for a VTR to be quick & not fast, if you get me... id say the best thing to do is cams & a 106 sxi gearbox, with a decent filter & exhaust inc manifold obviously all mapped together... this topic has been discussed in many ways before so check out the search button...

this all depends on your budget obviously..... if you have 7k charge the VTR, if you have a few hundred, exhaust, cams & filter will make a difference for you.

said it before, but by the time you do that do a vtr, you'd have spent vts-engine money. by all means tune the vtr engine, but if you really want your car to be a lot quicker then vts it.

correct, there are also many profile of cams for a VTR thus "cams"! smileys/smiley2.gif

seanvtr81, id say it was pritty clear if you modded a vts with the mods ive done it would be quicker, it did leave factory with 30bhp more than mine. i never mention modded vts, i hope to beat standard ones thou. smileys/smiley4.gif

how have you linked up your oil breather pipe?

y not chip ur vtr mate i got a super chip and a dastek chip on my mrk vtr it goes well 16.4 secs on the quarter mile but has a lot more mods

i've chipped my windscreen and my car's does low 13's.

saying that, i've fuck all time for people who come on here saying 'i've had 142mph out of my vtr'- hardly takes a rocket scientist to work out why people hate saxo drivers/car enthusiasts in general... but that's a different conversation all together. smileys/happy.gif

alex_vtr, if thats all you run with the mods you have listed mate you have problem. iv seen vtrs run 16.4s in the wet with just manifold, filters and exhaust. i need to run the quarter and see the time before i spend anymore money mate.

spencer, if you mean the breather on the rocker cover i have used an k+n breather filter, or if you mean the one that goes to the plenuim chamber i have a small stainless pipe welded on to the main inducation pipe near the battery. smileys/smiley4.gif
