I had quite a expensive helmet I was given. Its never been used, totally unmarked and even still had all the original safety tags attached. As I am never going to use it I listed it on ebay. Ebay guidelines said “An item can be listed as new if it's unused, fully functional and has no signs of damage or wear.“ So I listed it as “new”. I copied the information from the label, Gave the make and model and even stuck a nice photo of the actual helmet I was selling. I was happy it sold even though it was not for a lot.
BUT, then I got a email from the buyer saying it was not new as it was a old model. He had absolity no complaint with the condition but purely because it was not this years model. So I told the guy to have a look at the listing as at no point did I say it was this years helmet, they don't even make the model any more. I also showed him the ebays listing guidelines and said I just followed them. He has started a PayPal dispute :wall:
Why does this Sh1t always happen to me :n:
