i hear everyone talking about getting throttle bodies on their VTS bt neva their VTR..

Can u get throttle bodies for a vtr? if soo... how much are how much extra performance can u gain from the extra air flow?

Yeah you can mate, think i saw a xsi1600 8v running about 143bhp. May have been a 1400 though.

Deep pockets?.. If you were seriously thinking about it a 16v is in need.
