Dont need to relocate filter. It has an adaptor plate that goes on between filter and block.

you are using a CItuing manifold though aint you?
Im just using an adapted standard manifold so i MIGHT be ok, but not sure.
anyhow, if i read this correctly, does the oil cooler pipe in between the engine and the filter in a sandwich late, cooling the oil through the filter and into the engine??
or have i just not got a clue with the above statement???
Just need to no realy so if i go shopping for one i know exactly what to get etc

ok you can try it without but if the turbo is near it it will burn it. yea myn is sandwich plate to oilf filter then to oil cooler then to sandwich plate. and der is another oil feed that comes of the top of my oil cooler to the turbo.

So i just need an oil cooler and that sandwich plate thing basically.
Not sure if my turbo will foul it or be to close like...
If i have to move it, how exactly do i go about doing that ????

Ages ago on rallye register I was reading about these oil coolers, apparently they are bad for your engine.
I can't remember the exact details or link

hmmm intresting, what is worse though:
Super hot oil
OR
Cooler oil (probs at normal temp)

Overcooling your oil can be bad for an engine. Makes sense logically as your supposed to let your engine warm before giving it some.
Thats why a thermostatic sandwich plate is used. This only allows the oil cooler to cool the oil after the temp hits a certain level.
When I ran just an oil cooler on my engine, it didnt even hit 1/4 way in the winter. Not good.
