The VTS engine would be my first choice, Sparco_Tom will be able to get you sorted in a weekend!.

The S engine gives you a 30bhp gain from a VTR. You can cam a VTR, get headwork, manifold etc etc and spend upto a grand before seeing those kind of gains and you'll still want an S gearbox for the accel. Plus you can sell the VTR engine for a few quid to get some cash back.

Id speak to Sparco_Tom and see what he can do for you.
