fitting a raceland induction kit

iam trying to fit my raceland induction kit but the carbon fibre housing for it doesnt seem to fit right and i didnt recive any instructions with it can anyone help at all??

Weird thing i got this on my saxo vts and it sounds lush but i found my saxos seem to have lost its power i start off from a lights and put my foot down and it takes it time to build up speed. i got this raceland induction kit with the green filter. Any ideas guys how to get it upto scratch again.
