Had my VTR on the rolling road today. My car is completely standard or at least as far as I know of It is a 2003 reg and has nearly 35K miles on the clock. It had the power run and it came back with this

Power norm - 112.7 BHP
Engine Power - 112.3 BHP
Wheel Power - 75.9 BHP
Drag Power - 36.3 BHP

Max Power at 6185 RPM/105.9 MPH

Max Torque 108.1 lb ft

Max Torque at 3620 RPM/62MPH

Max attained RPM 6410RPM/109.7MPH

Another thing is the graph shows the power peak at 5.6K then there is a bit of a trough then there is a second peak at nearly 6.2K! Far as I know the car is standard and the graph seems genuine (the bhp/torque lines croos at 5252rpm). Just seems a bit over omptimistic to me :fcuk:

Austec Racing in Crawley, West Sussex. Just seems good for a standard 1.6 8v I'm thinking the machine has over read :panic:

I did think it could possibly be an aftermarket cam as VTR power as stock is 98ish + cam would bring it closer to 110 and there is a second "peak" of power at 6K but the rr must be out quite a bit. Might take the head off to check the cam but how can you tell if it is chipped? I wonder if I should demand a retest cost £60 and I still don't know the true BHP :(
