just woundered what is better,, standard air box with a pannel filter, or a decent aftermarket induction kit.

1.4 west coast. totally stanard atm mate, but want to get a full exhaust system and other lil bits .

to be honest mate you arent gonna get any massive changes from fitting an induction kit, some even loose you some bhp. You would be as well getting a green cotton panel filter and making sure you have a really good cold air feed.
This is just my opinion though.

cheers m8 , i will look out for one. i know i wont get much power out of a 1.4 but just want to do some sutible mods to it...

i vote standard raceland enclosed induction, cheap, gave me a slight performance increase on my vtr, althought before that i had no cold air feed so i was going to feel a difference no matter what i put on, but the best thing about them is the noise..
