Ihave a sexi lil white saxo with vts interior and vts kit with carzone bumper, slammed to the balls on 15's, the only problem is its too f**king slow,if i cant make it faster i am goin to sell it for a vtr/s, but i would rather keep it and fit a d-turbo engine to it, can it be done?if not is there anythin else that can be done to turn this into the rocket it looks like?

its a different engine type so you would be better spending the 5k to put the 2l petrol one it, so it just get a vts engine in and charge it for that price.

Legend another 1.5D-er!
Mate the diesel engine from the 306D is I believe (but correct me if im wrong) 1.9TD - this is massive for a saxo, i doubt it'll physically fit in the engine bay. Also diesels are a much heavier engine than comparative petrol veriosn, as they have to be stronger due to the higher forces it's being subjected to. so you could see some nasty handling characteristics.
If you want something faster and relatively easy to put in it looks as tho you're gonna be stuck with one of the saxo petrol ranges.
Another suggestion, if you want to still go down the diesel route would be to consider one of the HDi engines:
1.4HDi - C1,C2,C3
8v - 70bhp but dont let this fool you i've stuffed VTR's with a C3 with this engine.
16v - 92bhp
or
1.6 HDi 90bhp/110bhp - C3,C4,C5 - slightly newer + amazing fuel economy + great performance.
Around £500 from ebay. Good luck man

will probably go for the petrol 1600 8v lump, but will it not be a nightmare to change it to petrol, those hdi engines are probably the best option but they seem to be almost impossible to come by!cheers for the advise! smileys/smiley16.gif
