It says its a 1600 on log book and on the MOT, just when i used to drive em years ago im sure they were quicker. its a 1999 model it has blue dials but has the silver rocker cover engine. second gear hits 60mph i cant say much more apart from up loading a pic.

that dosnt sounnd right,i thought all mk1s were blacktop ?
if im right it might have had an engine swap maybe cam belt snapped on previous owner and he could only find a 1.4l engine
the only way to be sure is rollin road easyiest way

just been to a citroen dealer and had one of the guys check the engine and it is a vtr 1600i not a 1400. the silver rocker cover was fitted to the engines that were engine code s6nfzf TU5JP. thank god for that! got loads of onfo from them regarding codes etc got a big print out of all engine codes which fit certain cars etc. now happy happy hapy.
