just a quick question guys. if i have a 4-1 decat manifold, newmans ph3 cams and remap on my vtr 2001, when it comes to the m.o.t i will be putting the standard manifold (with the cat ) back on. will doing this effect the cars emisions in anyway or the running of the car and also the remap,basically will it pass any help would be great thanks

no idea on emissions after the map, but it'll be easier to just put a cat in underneath

it should be ok with the cat on but without the cat most places wont m.o.t it simply becuase it probly will fail the emmisions

most cars emissions will be affected by wilder cams and a remap but it just depends mate? some pass some dont, condition of engine helps alot too, as said by a cat fotr under neath its much easier, try going to a garage diff to the one your getting motd at and ask him to test your emisions for you, if it fails find a man who can;)

should be ok. the cats in the manifold are fairly good so aslong as they actualy warm the car up it will be fine.
