serious mods to 1.1i x

in about a year i will be in the army after getting my a levels and that is when i want to be an engineer and to do some bad ass mods to my car i don't want to sell up as i think it will be more fun. this is no joke thread!!!!! i want to get a vts engine in my car maybe a VTEC but then i want another engine in the back. so i would need to make another drive shaft and differential because in the end i want a 4WD saxo!!!!! i know you've heard it right a 4WD saxo. iv seen rear wheel drive but never heard of a 4wd saxo has anyone? anyone thinks this is the best idea since citreon went you knwo what were gonna build the best hot hatch of the 1990's...????:panic::panic::panic::panic:

wouldnt say the best idea. making a light car very heavy. People have put vtecs in saxos, both the front or the back. there has been 4wd 106's so excatly the same as a saxo. and that was cosworth engined.

theres was a 4wd saxo floating around ebay for a while, had the drivers seat in the center and some huge bodykit unfinished

Just save for a VTS. Modding a 1.1 is pointless imo, unless you're going for a sleeper effect.

turbo vts in a 1.1 shell. with the money spent getting a vtec or something in your could have a 300bhp vts

Not a great starting point, say you wang on the power with an engine transplant, you need to do the 4stud conversion (if an early 3stud) also do a disc beam conversion etc...

in a 1.1 though? forget it, its jsut not worth it, use the money on buying a better car with that power, or like others said, build an insane vts.
